Proofreader Desks

A proofreader's desk, also known as an editor's desk or writer's desk, is an inclined table, usually tilted at a 30 to 45 degree angle. The desk gives relief for readers from hunching over for long periods of time (such as when proofreading or editing) when examining documents closely. They serve similar purposes as draft tables (or architect desks) but are much more portable and can easily be placed on any common table or desk.

Shown above is a Levenger Collegiate Editor's Desk. Levenger makes several styles of this desk, as well as other premium office and editor tools.
